Sarasota has many fun and exciting Halloween events to partake in, one of the more exciting ones being the Frightfully Fun Trick or Treat Parade. This parade features creative costumes and tons of candy for everyone who attends!
The parade is held in the University Town Center (UTC) Mall parking lot October 30. The event is from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M and is first come first served. This parade is a tradition run by the mall’s marketing program for many years, and officials hope to continue it for years to come. Children show off their favorite costumes and there is trick or treating for everyone to enjoy!
Many children enjoy this frightful and fun experience that includes goodie bags for the first 500 children dressed up in their best and cutest costumes. Walking around the parking lot in a parade formation, some fan favorite costumes include firefighters, ballerinas, police officers, fairies, doctors, and many more.
It is also a great place for children that do not have the opportunity for trick or treating. Many parents love this tradition, which, in turn, makes Halloween a little easier on them. Whether working parents, single parents, or simply just busy parents, it is nice to have this opportunity to be able to take their children somewhere fun while also saving money and time.
So get the spooky season started and enjoy a night full of candy and fun! Frightfully Fun Trick or Treating allows everyone to enjoy a night out with family and friends!
