A new all-day café will soon to be opened at our local University Town Canter shopping district and dinning hub. The new café has been modeled after Naples’ favorite, Jane’s Garden café. The café has been in the works since 2019.
The eatery will serve a contemporary causal menu featuring a variety of options, including vegan and gluten-free foods, coffee and more. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner will be served. The design of the café will be featuring succulent plants, attractive lighting, and minimalist chandeliers. Diners can expect a contemporary, luxurious but casual setting.
According to George, the owner of the restaurant, the café’s opening date has been pushed back due to COVID-19. The company decided to take a conservative approach to business at the start of the pandemic. The construction of the café is done. Design elements for the café are currently the only hold up, and he hopes to open soon.
Teagan King ‘23 says, “I'm excited to try the new café! I love going to brunch, lunch, and dinner with my family and friends! I also think it will be nice to have a new restaurant join our local shopping area that way we can stop in if we get hungry and try something new.”
Another student, Reka Szekeres '23, also agrees with King. Szekeres says “I’m excited for the new opening and I think it will be great to add something new especially since it has variety of foods for many to enjoy like vegan options.”
RAMS set your brunch plans for the new opening of Georgie's Garden Café that will soon join the popular local UTC shopping strict and dinning hub! There is a wide variety of food and drink options for all to enjoy!
